Finally got my first PDA ever , an Axim 51v still waiting for DELL to ship me, anyway I have no clue of what accessories will be good to have in order to enjoy my device from the beggining, I mean softwares, gagets whatever I can do to enter the PDA world, which again is totally new for me.

Some important first purchases include:

Memory cards
Screen protector (debatable by some)
Better case (also debatable)

For software, definitely take a look at freeware before spending any money. Just make sure they are WM5 compatible. Here are some good links:

For fun things, consider:

BT keyboard/mouse
GPS

Finally, probably the most important of all, make sure you do the Fake Server trick to stabilize your device!

I would agree with Gigi on her recommendations. Debatable or not, I would highly recommend a screen protector and case. For the screen protector, I would suggest theinvisibleshield. For your case, I would say go with Rhinoskin. Course, these are just my suggestions. You definitely will want to research your options to see what's best for you. With software, the possibilities are endless. It just all depends on what your needs are. Good luck and happy hunting!

Thanks for the advice guys, I got the PDA mainly because I think it will be very useful in my work and of course for the fun I can have with it (mp³ / photos storage...) and I can't quite wait for the thing to arrive....
