Just to add another opinion to this post.
I bought a Proclip based on reviews from this site, and I am very dissapointed. I chose the angled mount for my subaru impreza RS 2005, and the mounting location is right above a clip that holds the stereo/HVAC bezel on the dashboard. Additionally, the angle of the mounting piece is too steep, putting pressure on the bezel and the clip.
While driving, the pressure on the clip combined with the bumpiness of the road causes the top of the bezel to pop off, which in turn dumps the proclip and the axim on the center console of my car, which then falls onto the floor. The glue is no longer any good due to carpet and floor dirt on it, so it happens again, only in less time.
I took a dremel to my bezel and remounted the thing semi-properly. It's now a little loose and "jiggles", but at least it'll never fall off again. If the jiggleing bothers me I'll put some screws into it from behind the bezel. If I do this I'll have to dremel the clip as it's in the way of my DIN pocket door (it's now mounted quite a bit below the clip due to dremelling). The bezel costs $70 for a new one ($40 on ebay), and I hardly think I should have had to destroy a $70 piece of my car just to mount a $90 mounting system (CAD prices). (I'll pick one up from a junk yard for $10-$20 in a few years before I sell it, but that's beside the point)
I believe this problem is unique to this car, and this mounting system. Had I bought the vent mount it likely would have been ok, but I didn't want that location, and at this point I don't want to get dinged with shipping/duty again to return my mount.
The clip itself does hold the axim very well, and I love the fact it can hold the axim in the sena case. Also the shipping was amazingly fast. So it's not all bad, I just wish that this particular supposedly custom expensive mount was actually designed for my car (or at least designed properly).
