802.11g on a 51v
I'm trying to find an sdio card that will run G in my Axim so that it can log in to the network at work (G only). I tried the Ambicom WL54cf, only to find that CF's don't agree with the Axims for wifi.

Has anyone used the spectec sdio(g), or any other sdio g cards with success on the 51v? I'm shipping the ambicom cf back and wanted to see what success/horror stories are out there with other products.

It's frustrating because there is a wm5.0 driver for the Ambicom card, just not one that works with the Axim. It seems that burried a few hundred pages into the Axim manual (which I can't say that I've ever opened before) is a note about cf's not working for wifi.

Anyhow,

Thanks for any advice.

The software tweaks2k2, allows you to "trick" your Axim into becoming a 802.11G device. Hope that helps

I didn't know it did that...

EDIT: Oh yea, I see the option now. Didn't realise it was there.
