CAT V Cable hookup for x51v?
I often stay at hotels that have a wireless capability in the lobby but only a CAT V cable in the room.

Is there a device that will plug in to either the SD or CF slots that will allow an x51v to access the internet directly through the CAT V cable (RJ 45 jack I believe)? I guess I'm asking for the equivalent of a laptop NIC card of some sort?

Or would the only solution be to bring my own router and create a local wireless node that I could access through the x51v wireless capability? Is this even possible?

Presonally I travel with a small wireless router. Works with laptop or axim, even has plugs for multiple Cat5, if I need them. This way I can lay in bed and still use the machine.

I have been to many meeting where the wireless is protected and they will not let you have the key, or the room is full with machines and only 1 Cat5 plug in the wall.

I also travel with a power strip... SAME REASON.

I use to have a ATT Wireless Router for this, now I use a DLINK Router - packs nice and flat. I paided less than $20 for each of them.

Get a pocket router instead , so you can have an access point anywhere you go.
All the main soho network brand have such products:

Several excellent possibilities here. At the very least excellent directions from which to research. Thanks very much all.
