Are X50 and X51 accessories interchangable. I just bought a synch cable and when it came it had X50 on it and it didn't work, I don't know if its faulty or it shouldn't work with my X51v.

Was it the 3-1 travel kit by Belkin?

Belkins sells a 3-1 travel kit for the x50/v. But on Dell's site and other others that 3-1 kit is for the x51/v.

My kit had issues when you connected the sync cable to the x51, it would cause the screen to flicker. The DC adapter was also bad.
I called up tech support and they said it could of been a bad batch.

I'm now waiting on the replacement.

I do believe they are the exact same thing. If I am not mistaken they are interchangable.

Thanks, I thought they should be the same but on the other hand that would be the sensible thing!
It isn't a Belkin lead its (just looked, no manufacturer) so i'll wait for the replacement.

The new lead came and works fine, must have been a faulty lead.
