Well, after waiting for 3 1/2 months for the shipment of the Belkin Thumb Keyboard, it arrived. The Setup file on the disk that specifically says that it's for the Axim X50/X51 does not work.
I've read other comments on searches on Google. I need help in locating the correct cab file. I'm using Axim X50V with WM2003SE and XP on my PC.
If you've already tried running the setup .exe from your desktop (i.e., connected via Activesync), the CAB file should be available by going to Program Files - Microsoft ActiveSync. Search the names of the folders there for your Belkin keyboard driver.
Do you need the correct driver, or just want to get the cab file out of the driver? I got the cab file for the x50/x51 driver attached. Just download the zip file and extract the cab file. This should work.
In a nutshell, I'd just like to get this thing to work. Regardless of whether it's the cab file or a driver file, I'd appreciate if someone can help me with this issue.
I am away from my home cradle & pc, so I can't search the folders that were suggested, but soon as I get home I will try that recommendation.
Again, simply stated, the disk that was shipped with the Belkin Thumb Keyboard for the X50/X51 doesn't work, and I would like for someone to help solve it with me.

Try the zip file i attached you can open right from your axim using Pocket RAR. Just in case you dont have pocket rar, here is a link to its cab file. Then just download the zip file i attached earlier. Extract the cab file, and it should install fine, right from the axim, as long as you have internet.

You solved my problem! At the same time you taught me about using cab files. Thank you very much.

THANK YOU! I bought the keyboard, tried the CD and even tried to download it from Belkin.com :bang:
Thanks for your help. I can now see first-hand how much I hate typing on a thumb keyboard and why I don't have a Blackberry. I can smoke thumb typing with the Block Recognizer.
