Better case
I just receive my Rhino aluminem case with extended battery and it's HUGE. No way this thing could fit into my pocket.

I also just purchased a Mugen battery 2200mah. One thing I didn't think about was carrying this on a daily basis.

Can anyone describe how the Sena leather case fits into a pocket with the 1800 mah battery?

I'm a guy who usually wears dress pants to work and jeans afterwards/weekends. No way the Rhino case fits into my pocket. Also, its difficult to take in and out of the case to charge it.

I've enjoyed using the pouch dell provided but could use it on a daily basis. How much bigger is the Sena case?

If it the 1800 mah does fit and doesn't make the case too big..I'm thinking about exchanging the 2200 for an 1800mah.

I have a sena case... but it is the regular one, not the extended one.

Having said that, I think it is about as slim fitting as a case could be. Your dress habits sound about like mine. With my dress slacks, I can usually carry it in my pocket if I want. Jeans tend to be a little snugger and I can only carry it in baggy jean's pockets. What I typically end up doing is carrying it in my breast pocket on my shirt.

As for taking it out of the case to charge... this is one of the main selling points of the Sena.. you don't have to! The sena case is designed to allow the axim to charge in the cradle while still being in the case. As far as leather cases go, I highly recommend the sena case to anyone who is looking for something slim and 'pocket friendly' that is also good looking. I honestly don't know how it could be better in that regard. I can't guarantee that it will work right for you, but I think it is the best shot you have.

Is there a reason you would have to carry it in your pcoket instead of on a beltclip. I sometimes carry my x51v in my pocket in a leather case (with the beltclip removed)--usually when I have my Motorola e815 attached to my belt. However, an extended Sena case with a beltclip should not be a problem. But, I don't think there is any extended battery case that you would feel comfortable with in your pocket. BTW, I have the Rhinoskin extended--and you are right--it is is pretty chunky to carry around--clip or not!

I was afraid the thing would fall ..seemed really unstable. I'm in the process of returning the Rhino case. I saw the reviews on the 1800mah and doesn't seem too bulky at all.

The 1800mAh is 2.3mm thicker than the regular battery, which from a practical point of view is not a big difference. I have that battery, which lasts nearly twice as long as the standard 1100 battery, as well as the standard Sena. They are a wonderful combo.

At one point, before I bought the 1800, I wanted the 2200. I decided not to get it b/c it's 1/4" larger than the standard battery. That's a big difference and would be too bulky for a stylish man like me .

In my humble opinion, a pda should be small and portable. The 2200 battery with the extended metal case makes it too bulky to be called a pda. It should be called a Newton or something with that extra size.

Good luck with your decision.

I have the 2200 with the rhinoskin extended batt. case. I admit that it is bulkier, but for long train rides, you jut can't beat the battery life of the 2200. I don't have a charger at work, and the 1100 just didn't have the battery life I need (to be honest, I have been eyeballing the 3300, but that would be too big even for me.

I'm stylish too. Although I may have to pay for shipping to return some of this stuff I've decided on the Sena black leather case and 1800mah battery from cases (with the 15% off aximsite users). 1800mah is a nice compromise. I wanted more power but will settle for style and portability. Although my credit card my suffer.

Totally off topic, but why does TripleTTTT have four Ts? Or should it be twelve Ts?

Davrol, stylish men have the ability to step outside the box. They're more creative than the average man. Or it may have been a spelling error.

No spelling mistake.

Received the Sena case and this is much smaller than the Rhino skin extended. Smooth and has that new leather smell. For anyone that has this case, do you spray it with a leather spray? If so how often.

The 1800 mAH battery is charging at the moment. Smaller than I thought it would be.

Also, the boxwave screen protector is awesome!! I can't even tell this is on at all.

People at cases.com are smart people. I paid over $100 in products and they only declared $24 SMART. Along with the 15% discount offered to aximsite members I highly recommend this website.

Please buy accessories off www.cases.com
