http://www.handango.com is a great resource.

Or http://www.freewareppc.com/ if you're looking for free stuff.

8 hours charge, eh? Did anybody tell you yet to just take it off the charger and start using it as soon as the charge light turns green? Read the wikipedia article on Li-ion batteries.

I never the instruction manual and it's a good thing I didn't.
On my first usage I just used it until battery went flat before charging to get a full 'refresh'. It had around 80% left when I first got it.

The only downside of not reading the manual is I still don't know exactly how long a full charge takes. I'll probably measure it myself some other time.

I did read the manual while the unit was charging. It took less than 8 hours but that was last October. I have kept my unit pretty simple. When I transfered from the Palm world to the Dark Side (LOL) I have a ton of issues with the data I used (besides PIM data) on a daily basis being traped inside of applications that would not transfer over to the PocketPC world. At that point I took all of that information and turned it into a excel, word, pdf or txt file. I have been tempted many times to try unique applications just like those I used when in the Palm world but have abstained from doing so. I have a PocketPC Bible application named BibleReader from OliveTree.com, TCPMP which I use for converted movie and picture viewing, Magic Button from TranCreative which I prefer over Switcher Bar, Adobe Reader 2.0 for pdf files, Microsoft Reader for my ebooks, SmallTime for my stop watch and count down timer needs, and MyCalculator which I prefer over the standard Calculator. During the previous ROM upgrades if was pretty simple to get my unit up and running within an hour.

There should be an easier way to find the MyPDAs. I have a link on mine to a post you once made listing the View MyPDAs that AximSite voted best at one point in time, but no easy way (that I know of anyway) to find the actual pages. The quickest way I know of is to enter the username into the advanced search and find a post by that member and then use that to get to their View MyPDA.
