Theres are no free softwares for the "axim x 51v", at least none worth downloading.... if anyone could help me get a site or whatever I can getr them.

Most things that will work on the x50 will also work on the x51 but try to get stuff that says that it is compliant with wm5. It still might cause you problems but you have a better chance that it will work. Another suggestion is to do a backup before you try something new. that way if it crashed your system you can always restore and get it back without having to reload everything.

Best free software I've found is TCPMP - best video player ever.... and tey're about to release a commercial version; based on the free one I'll probably buy. Almost all of the software on mine is purchased though as I found commercial to generally be more stable and better supported.

Look at mypda to see what's installed. With this set I've had no problems / crashes conflicts etc etc....
