You advise on my work configuration would be great!!!

I just ordered an x51v for work purposes. I am a dish network installer and everyday i have to go find houses with 130 miles of albuquerque NM. I have a dell laptop but do not want to carry that around tracking since it is bulky(17 in screen model). I ordered street atlas 2007 a few days ago since I have heard lots of good things about it. So now i am down to figuring out the mount and the receiver.

I drive a 2000 Ford F150. I wanted to mount the receiver on the roof(magnetic mount) or above the rear view mirror. I was thinking BT and hard wiring a power line from the overhead.

is this a good idea?

what model BT do you suggest?

which nav software do you think might be better for my purposes if better than what i have. oh I have navteq software too with april 2006 rev.

I have been reading alot but I feel i am more confused than ever.

thanks

frank
