FIBER OPTICS? You can get a short piece (c. 12") ready to use with a slip-on cup for a mini-mag flashlight. I think they're made by BrightStar (?)... should be with other small flashlight accessories (head bands, holsters, etc.) in sporting goods. Mine cost $6. I just orderfed the Ir kb and plan to try it myself, if I can find the little guy. Happy hunting. MTF

I found an IR keyboard on eBay for $22 (new, incl. s&h). From the photo I could see it was a Belkin, like the one covered in the excellent post/article, except it has a Sprint logo, and a stand (which I don't use) to fit a phone. I use it and my X50v flat on a table works like a charm. The guy (oemcloseout) has several available in his eBay store. Placement seems pretty flexible in the landscape mode (what I use most) to use portrait will mean mods to the stand, or building one yourself. At less than1/3 the price of the BT kbd, who can kick? Good stuff cheap! HNY, MTF

w3iner,
I read your fine review and bought the keyboard... perfect for my use. You mention using software that emulates a mouse by using arrow keys. Can you tell me the name of the program, where to download it? Thanks, mtf

Nice review! I was debating between this and the Palm Universal, and this looks like the better buy.

Yes, The mirror on the stand swivels around so you can use it in landscape.
