Best GRPS Card - Setup of GPRS Push from Exchange on A012

I've just upgraded to A012 from A01 and I'm now looking to setup GPRS push on my Exchange server to my Axim over GPRS. Does anyone know of any guides to do this but more importantly does anyone have any experience with GPRS cards for the Axim and how well they work?

Regards,

Jim.

Welcome to Aximsite!

I've never used these cards before, but one thing you should make sure is that there are WM5 drivers available for the one you choose. I know the card from Enfora now has WM5 drivers so you might want to start there.

Moved to Accessories.

Thanks for the info Gigi and for moving the post. I'll check out Enfora and see how I get on.

Does anyone know if there is a retail outlet in the UK that sells items such as these (another way of tracking down more to look at).

Regards,

It is nearly certain that you will not find such a card in any store, because they are so uncommon, and demand for them is very low. Using a BT cellphone is much better, and the battery life reduction is infinitely lower.

If you look right on the homepage, it says you have to request it directly from them:

Q. When will Enfora’s GSM/GPRS Compact Flash modem support Windows Mobile 5.0?

A. Enfora has developed support for Windows Mobile 5.0 into our Pocket Phone Tools software and it is currently available. Please Click Here to submit your request for the software.
BTW, welcome to Aximsite!

Oh wow do I feel like an idiot now :D saw the first page and didnt see any CF products shown on there so I rapidly jumped to the conclusion that the CF GPRS cards was not maybe one of their MAIN products or BEST sellers (which still might be true) and started instantly to dig deeper to locate info on it ;)

THANKS yeah I've been an X51V owner and an avid reader for some time, but just registered as of now.

Do we have any feedback from actual WM5 users who have this ENFORA GPRS unit? Anyone?
