Rediculous Technology! Check This Out!
I don't know if anyone has seen this yet. I'm sure you have. I'm usually a little down the list on new stuff. But anyway Check the new idea in computers. I've heard of this idea b/f but never actually seen any kind of prototype.

Also does anyone know if there is a projection KB like this on the market now for the Ax?

There is a projection keyboard and I think it will work for the later axims. I don't think it's being sold in north america yet, though I could be wrong.

Actually, this has been out for quite some time now, even in North America. Check out the review here:

http://www.techislands.com/index.php...68&Itemi d=26

Since this is not really a new product anymore, I'll move this to X50/X51 Accessories.

As stated above, the keyboard is already on the market. However, ALL the pens above are only conceptual mockups. There are no actual products as shown in the photographs.
The keyboard has been discussed in various threads on Axminsite.
Symbol Technologies (the barcode scanner company) is coming out with a laser-based pocket projector in the next couple of years.

Has anyone ever used one of the laser keyboards?? What are the like? Will they project on any surface and still work?? Just curious. I've seen them mentioned before, but not in any great detail. Oh yeah, and what about price?? And size of the unit??

I know the idea is fairly conceptual, but it's still a cool idea!

now available on Ebay... going price around $120 for US version. The one
shown on ThinkGeek is british version and uses the GIANT plug with a US adapter.

I bought a virtual laser keyboard about a year ago. It works. I will say I wasnt as impressed as I thought I'd be, but it was still ultra-cool. is. I could go back in lime, I would not spend the money again. In fact, I should put it up for sale...

battery life wasn't very good awhile back and you didn't save much space with the virtual keyboard. I think next keyboard I'll buy is the fabric bluetooth one that came out last month, in the hopes that it will be more durable than the thinkoutside ones.
