Buy the X10 VGA to TV unit and the x50V vga cable and you will have something that works.
Wait for the X10 unit to go on sale - they routinely sell this for $29 - get on their spam list to get their weekly specials.

That's the one! Hey - they STILL only have 212 units for sale after all this time
just make sure your get the VGA one. The guts of the VGA unit has a VGA to NTSC converter module that autoscales your VGA resolution to fit on a TV display. 640x480 is about the max usable resolution for a standard TV display.
