Blue Tooth Mouse
I am looking to buy a BT mouse to go with my PDA and my keyboard. I would love some suggestions on which mouse I should go with, and keep in mind that in about 6 months or so I will be getting a laptop(I hope) and that I might want to use it with that also. I was thinking the StowAway BT mouse, but any mouse will be fine as long as it works, and I don't want to spend more then 50$.

Stowaway is sweet. New Egg has a price in your range, last I checked.

But is there a way in Windows mobile to show the mouse? or else how do you know where you are pointing as there is normally no mouse viewed in PPC.

JB,

When you install the mouse and enable it, an arrow-shaped pointer appears on your screen -- just like Windows, except you can't change the shape or size of it (I think). I have this mouse and a bluetooth keyboard and love them both. Killer combo, and makes it much easier to do the work of a laptop. I wouldn't want to rely on it for long stretches of time, though. When I first started to use the mouse, I had to get used to the fact that the controls were still Windows Moblie. In other words, no double-clicking to open things, etc. Have fun, and I think that you will find that the mouse really adds to the functionality of your Ax.

How easy is the Stowaway to use without 'real' number keys?

I am very tempted to buy one, but not if using FN to access numbers is a real hassle.

I purchased the Stowaway mouse and keyboard combo. I've had no problems whatsoever. It works great and I recommend it. Although I do admit that I only use it on occasions.

I've always had to stop and look to type numbers accurately on a regular keyboard--I can type letters accurately, but never the number row; using the stowaway is almost exactly the same thing for me as the pause I need on a regular keyboard.
