I just received them and put one on. What I did was go into the bathroom and put the shower on hot water, to creat a humid environment so that dust and lint would not be in the air. After running for about 5-10 minutes I was able to see the steam around the room. I then used the enclosed line free cloth and cleaned the display. After that I removed the back film and applied to the display, using a credit card I was able to get rid of any air bubbles. I then removed the front film and all is OK.
You might try using warm water to remove the lint from the protector and see what happens, also use a lint free cloth to dry it.

Good luck.

I have no experience with that particular protector, but with the Write Shield and the Brando, you can remove and re-apply. Remove by lifting a corner with scotch tape, then apply strips of the tape to the 'sticky' side to clean off the dust/lint. Then re-apply to your screen.

Any extraneous bits of dust etc., lift that portion of the screen, and slide a tape to grab it.

For me it took some time, but I eventually got a perfect installation of my Brando after about 3 hours of doing this !!
