What's a good case for the x51v that will protect it if dropped and also accomodate my CF gps receiver?

You might want to read through the Cases sticky thread above, as well as check the Accessory Reviews under the "Resources" link at the top of the board. Most of these questions have been answered at one time or another, but offhand, I don't know of ANY case which could hold a CF receiver and protect it, given the fact that the CF receivers stick out to varying degrees depending on the brand.... and surrounding it with aluminum or even dense plastic would probably block the GPS signal.
