x51 rubber pads
I just noticed that I lost one of the two rubber pads on the upper back of my x51v. Anyone knows where I can get the replacement pads?

Do a search, I remember in the last few days about reading a posting where someone got some replacements from Dell and in the posting had the item#. I believe they said that Dell provided them at no cost. I had problems on my x50v with the feet coming loose because of the tightness of my aluminium case.

Well, I guess I'm not so lucky. Dell told me that pads are not shipped separately, so the only option I have is to exchange my otherwise normally working Axim for a refurbished Axim with good pads. I refused. Dell sucks....

I called 1-800-873-1420. And I also talked to the supervisor of the person who originally answered.

That is absolutely crazy! The cost of the rubber feet could only be pennies. With an envelope and postage, it would still be under $0.50. Why would they want to replace the entire unit

Now go figure -- since calling support didn't work too well, I decided to try live chat. And surprisingly they shipped the pads after 30 min of questioning. The funny part is that they first thought x51v was a ... printer, but then apologized and confirmed it was a PDA. So I should get the pads next week, in theory... Thanks for all advices.
