Hi I just ordered one of these for my x51v, does it last enough? I want to be able to spend at least 2 or 3 hours using my axim, I heard this was the best model, what do u think..

i just barely picked one up. With the original battery at the end of the day would be like 1/2 way gone, with this new 2200 mAh battery I barely get past the first bar of power in one day

I'm interested in knowing what types of battery you all are using. I've gone through two now, both bought off of ebay (don't know the brand??), have charged them for a full 24 hours before first use, and neither one does a damn thing. The battery that came with my x51v works fine, but I use the unit a lot and find it drains before the end of the day. Can anyone pass along a brand of battery, and maybe the place to buy, that you have tested and KNOW works? Has anyone else had such bad luck with batteries from ebay?

I agree. 2200 is well worth it. It does protrude, but I found a case to fit. I get nearly four hours.... go for it, IMHO.

I find that 2,200 mAh batteries are fine. As I live in the UK I bought mine from 7dayshop.com for £7.95 (about US$15), like PsionAndy a d Alba Joe. I was so pleased with it that I bought a second one.

I got a Sena extended battery case for it and with this case you can sync and charge the battery in the cradle without removing the PDA from the case. Very convenient!

I think that if you go for a larger battery than the 2,200 it increases the thicknes of the Axim so much that it will not fit in the cradle at all.
