Thanks for the reply Beth. I am using the IR keyboard. Unfortunatelly I
still can not get it work. Which version of driver are you using? I am
using 1.3.9. Actually if I check the "receive all beam" box, I can not
enable the keyboard. Following are my steps to install the keyboard. Can
you take a look to see is there anything wrong?
*install driver 1.3.9
*uncheck the "receive all beam" box
*enable the keyboard by checking the "enable" box in the "IR keyboard"
application
*unfold the keyboard. put the pda on it. point the ir hand to the ir
receiver on x50v.
*open a text editer such as note and type... nothing happen

Is the keyboard IR or BT? If IR, I think you must have the selection checked to Accept all incoming beams in the 'Settings, Connections, Beam' menu. I used a Targus IR keyboard with my X5 - worked great, but had to have the arm set up right above the IR sensor on the Axim, if they were off by even a small bit the connection would be lost. Keep them close together and try different alignments.
If BT, go through the process to make the keyboard discoverable (check keyboard user manual). And keep trying - took me several attempts to get my Stowaway BT keyboard to work with my X50v.
