From what I've read, there are a few types such as the typical foldable keyboard, IR keyboard, and BT keyboard. BT keyboard may not be allowed on planes (???), IR may have allignment & speed issues, and the foldable keyboard is pretty simple (which I had with my past iPaqs).
I'd like to know what you are using now (with brand name) and if you've had any problems.
I have the Dell branded, ThinkOutside kb, and have had no problems. I haven't heard anything definitive about BT on planes, except that from a safety point of view okay, but that 1) the people in charge will view it has wireless and might tell you to stop using it, and it might freak out the folks next to you.
The KB doesn't have a dedicated number row and that took a little getting used to. The touch is not quite that of a standard KB, but my hands are small so have some adjustment, that too has been all right. I also got the TO mouse and use that even more than the KB. I love it.
I hane Think Outside BT keyboard and absolutely LOVE it. It has full size keys and fold up very nicely. I don't travel much anymore, so the BT/airplane thing is not an issue for me. I am a fast typer and my Axim X51 keeps up just fine. I found CompUSA had the best price for the BT version.

Just saw that Think Outside has another bluetooth keyboard for sale--the Sierra, I think; it has another row of keys dedicated to numbers, like a regular keyboard.
I still went with the earlier version because I didn't need the number row for my text typing, and the older model is the most compact when folded
I have the Think Outside one as well, I have had absolutely NO issues with it. Only thing i didnt like was the annoying "tick" sound as i typed simulating what typing would sound like, but after i found out how to turn that off, i was just happy as a clam.
I also got the Think Outside mouse. And no, its not really necesary, but its pretty darn cool!!!
If you do get the Think Outside keyboard though, only one drawback if you use it vertically...........it wont fit in the stand very well. I saw a bunch of people ranting about how bad of a design flaw it was and how they were going to take it back, and stuff. But i guess they didnt realize that there is a screen rotate 180, and the other way it fits pretty snuggly in there.
Overall, i'm quite happy with both products, would recomend them to anyone. I took the logos off with cubed sugar so its just pure silver now with no brand
I have a sprint branded IR keyboard (belkin rebrand) that cost me $20 and have had no real problems becides size. I've even been able with some tinkering with the stand, to use it with my X50v in landscape mode! (and I'll tell you this, if you get a keyboard, do atleast consider the mouse, I dont have one and I play hell using the stylus while the X50v's on the stand) The IR also uses less battery than the BT keyboards
