What are the best accessories for the X51v?
Hi all. I'm making a list of things of Christmas and I want to see what are the best/most useful accessories for the X51v. I currently have: A BT mouse/keyboard, 2,200 battery, and 4gb SD with 512mb CF. Anything else; I was thinking about the VGA adapter, USB host card from Ratoc, and a USB hub. Thanks all.

I agree with Radimus on the Innopocket case. You might also think about screen protectors, also, if you have been really really good, you might ask Santa for a GPS.

Ok, now what is the best screen protector? I would like to have a washable/reusable one. The current Dell ones are OK.

I don't care about GPSes that much.

I have a camera case that I sue to hold the PDA and all of its possessions.

Whats so great about the 1,800 battery? Isn't the 2,200 better?

I use Screenguardz, (http://www.screenguardz.com) you can get 15 for $10. You don't have to cut them to fit, they come sized for the Ax. There are others that are more expensive and they probably will last longer than Screenguardz. I replace mine every 2 to 3 months.

On the Innopocket Magnum case, you can not use your 2,200 battery with this case. I have read that you can make an 1,800 fit by cutting the foam liner out but have not tried this mod.

VGA cable is nice, but to be honest.. i use it barely.
There are also CF TV tuners.. but be aware, the quality sucks.
Dont know other nice goodies except the GPS that you dont need..

Another vote for the Innopocket Magnum. This thing has saved my Axim 3 times already.

For screen protectors, I swear by Brando. Easy to apply and re-apply, and lasts for the life of your PDA I find. They also have matte and clear versions.

Review:

It's only $13 USD including shipping

I use WriteShield screen protector, and would recommend. I use Eops CF TV tuner quite a bit, and get good fun with it: if you've good TV through the air reception, it works fine.
