Need Immediate Assistance! Best Mobile Phone to pair with x51v&thinkoutside keyboard
I consider that my mobile phone, which I intend to purchase within the next few hours, will be a PDA accessory. I'd like a phone that is EVDO capable (I'm looking at Sprint and Verizon, mostly Verizon!) although not locked into one particular provider. I have no service or phone right now, which means I can make the best possible choice. Eventually I want EV-DO with dial-out modem, but not right now. I'd like the phone to be able to pair with my Axim _AND_ the Think Outside Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard, but I've been unable to figure out any elegant solution. I don't want a "Smartphone", I.E. Palm, Blackberry, or Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone. I'd actually like to have a Symbian Series 60 phone, but as long as it will pair with the Axim x51v, pair with the Bluetooth Keyboard, dial out on EV-DO, etc., I'm happy. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars, but I'm willing to go a little extra because I plan on having this phone for a while. I keep my devices for a long time, and I'm going to be sticking with the provider too. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm on the road right now so I sort of need to get this done quickly.

well i would think any phone that has bluetooth capabilities would work for ya, however i would lean towards spending maybe a little more for something that might work better.

A little more, sure. The two year contract is going to take a little off the price. I tried to pair my keyboard and a Samsung a930 at the Verizon store and it...didn't work. So I'm not sure what to do, I think they may remove some functionality from the bluetooth profile.
