I have a Dell x51v. I travel alot, and connect easily to all China Mobile Towers wirelessly using a Panda Wireless CF card I got in Beijing. However, sometimes I will not be in China, and I want to carry a small CF card to attach to the LAN port in hotels. Which card should I get that works with the x51v?

The only ones apparently still available that work with WM5 are the Socket cards (three models: I use the 10/100 Ethernet Card with my X51v, there was also a low power 10 card, but the only one still available new on the Socket web site is the Rugged 10/100 Ethernet CF Card).

TrendNet also has a card which people have used with the X51v but it seems to have vanished from all sales outlets.

P.S. there are some portable wireless routers that people have used in hotel rooms that only have ethernet available.

Thank you. That is my conclusion too after searching lot. The Socket card is the only one now available easily.
