My Bluetooth solution for the car
I have a couple of pairs of Logitech Bluetooth headsets. The kind that break although I used my lighter to solve that problem. I've been using them to listen to the audio on my Axim and Tmobile Dash. I have a pair for home and a pair for work thanks to Woot for a 2 pack for $39.99.

It dawned on me that I also have the Logitech Wireless Receiver for the home stereo, courtesy of Woot again for $19.00. After a quick little power adapter modification, I now have the wireless receiver hooked up under dash to the auxillary line in on my car receiver.

No more wires.

For the tv shows I like to watch, the sound is fine. For MP3's, there is a little popping from time to time, but I know if I did a fresh hard reset (haven't done one in almost 2 years :-) ) I belive I could get rid of that. An additional note, if I use the Logitech Transmitter, the sound is great. Well, as good as a CD or usb key in my Clarion headunit and the factory speakers in the Grand Marquis Ultimate Edition allow it to be...

Used your lighter, eh? Yeah, I have gotten some of these (several) from woot.com for $20 a pair. One is broken enough that I'm going to gut it and use it as a stereo BT receiver, plug that into my noise-cancellation headphones. Okay, so how exactly did you use the lighter to fix the crack? I gotta know!

I didn't use the lighter to actually fix the crack, I used it it to heat the plastic and "stretch" them out so they wouldn't crack.
