Be gentle to me. It is my first post. Received my x51v recently and was wondering if there is any docking station for x51v like iPod does. I know x51v has earphone and speaker. But it would be great if the docking station can charge x51v during playing so as not to worry about the battery.

Yes, the is a cradle avaliable. Dell carries them or you could try ebay.

My x51v comes with cradle too. However, that cradle has no speakers, unlike alot of iPod docking stations.

Are you talking about something like iHome?
The pins on the x50/x51 series don't have audio out. You can get a dell cradel and use the headphone out to connect to a stereo.

That's exactly what I am wondering. I guess the answer is NO - there is no iHome-like solution for x51v (because no audio out).

I suppose you could get a set of "iPod speakers" that plug into the iPod headphone jack and use those while your Axim is in the cradle charging

Yeah, there are no audio connections on the bottom connector, the audio all comes out of the standard headphone jack.
