Warm Dell battery?
Hi,

I bought a new Dell battery off eBay (well, it said it was genuine and if it is a copy, it's a pretty good imitation - I can't spot anything amiss) which I've been using for a week. I haven't had any problems regarding battery drain or the like, although I noticed that when I used the Axim for an extended period yesterday (battery went down to 37%) that the battery was quite warm (though not hot). I only noticed this when it had drained to under 40% left.

Is this normal? I charged up the battery this morning and it doesn't get warm during charging. Apart from the above, it works fine. I just want to make sure - especially with Dell's battery 'fun' this summer!

The battery can get warm, ive got mine up to almost 40C.

If you want to get an accuirate rading of your batt temperature, use this program:

Tap on the battery icon, and then go to advanced to get your reading.
