I ordered the 'extra sync cable' when I bought the x51v from dell website stupidly thinking that this is an extra cradle which I can use at home to recharge/sync with the home PC; I leave my main cradle in the office to sync with office PC.

So, now I can't charge up the battery on my x51v at home; only sync it with the PC unless I dismantle the charging cable from the cradle in office & bring home.

Can anyone suggest a cheap site to buy an extra charger; not necessarily a cradle but just something which can charge the axim?

If you purchased the USB sync cable, you can use it to charge via an available USB port. (The computer should be powered on as well.) The only thing is that because USB ports don't provide much power, you will have to leave your device OFF to charge.

As for an extra charger, many people have been using chargers for other devices (e.g., Ipaqs, etc.) which are available for cheap in lots of places. You should just make sure the specs match those on the original Dell charger. Ebay is another place to find cheap accessories.

As was stated, the usb cable will charge your x51v if you leave it plugged in and turned off. If you want to use it and charge at the same time, there are several possibilities. I bought the 3-in-1 kit direct from Belkin. It works great. You should be able to use the coupon code '12345' to get 40% off.

The X50 and X51 series are identical except for the version of the OS, and the flash memory.

The accessories for the X50 should work for the X51 without any problems.

Some members here claim that the PSP auto charger works for the Axim as well.
