Car Mount: flexible or section mounts?
Hi,
I'm looking at car mounts and am wondering whether users have a preference for either the flexible arm type or the 3 sectioned mounts?

Flexible: eg. Arkon CM910 : Universal PDA Mounting Kit
Sectioned: eg. Arkon CM933 : 7” Low-Vibration Mount

Does the flexible mounts 'bounce' when the vehicle is in motion?

Thanks for any feedback.

How about a vent mount?
You can try this vent mount for an inexpensive solution.

I modified mine (as shown near the end of the thread) to keep the Axim padded in the mount.

I went this way to keep the windshield clean and unobstructed.

I have that ARkon thing, I won it on a contest here. Yes it does bounce some while you are driving. NO GPS on bumpy roads.
