Located CF wifi card
I have never been happy with the wifi radio on the Dell X51V.

After searching I located a Wlan CF card 802.11 b/g card on Ebay for $38.00 that works with WM5. The driver loads up easly and the card shows 1 to 3 bars over the stock X51V wifi system !

GR8! What's the brand? I have an old SanDisk WiFi Plus 128MB that works with my X50, but it's 802.11b only, and the reception is no better (I have plans to add an external antenna, though). It would be nice to know the good G WiFi cards. How does the reception compare? I performed a check by connecting to my home router from a certain location using first the built-in WiFi, then the card, and comparing the connection strength.

I purchased the card from the Ebay seller "buyfromscott texas".

The wifi card always gives no less than 2 bars better on reception and hook-up much faster. Hope this helps.
