I just purchased a Boxwave USB sync/charge/VGA cable for my x50v and am using it quite happily (after discovering some limitations when the device is on extremely low charge but that is nothing).

One thing that is bugging me a little is that if I power off (press power button) the device while it is hooked up to a pc with the cable, I cannot power it back on unless i disconnect the cable or soft reset.
Otherwise the device behaves normally.

Is this normal? Have I misconfigured?

Any help would be much appreciated

Unfortunately, this is normal for the products you bought from Boxwave.

USB = 500mAh or so from your USB connection ... not enough amperage to charge and run your Ax at the same time. So, if you want to run your Ax then you'll have to remove the boxwave cable to do so ... if you want to charge your Ax then you'll have to shut down your Ax and then it will charge.
