Hi
I´m experiencing a strange thing here. I have a Thinkoutside Stowaway Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard (latest driver rev 4.51) working with a Dell Axim x51v (ROM ver. A12).
When i´m connected wirelessly with my router (a Linksys WRT54GS rev. 5 , firmware rev. 1.50.9) and try to use the keyboard, the connection drops everytime. It only happens when i´m not so close to the router; i´m talking about 10 to 15 meters.
I think it happens because an interference of the BT in the wifi frequency, but it have a strong effect in the signal only when the device is far from the source... the signal is classified as "normal" to "poor" when the keyboard is turned on. If i turn off the keyboard (sliding the right portion out of the working position) the connection is restabilished and don´t drop anymore.
I tried many things:
1) Tried to change the channels of the router: channels 10, 11, 3 and 6
2) Change the built-in BT manager to the Broadcomm Stack, listed
here
3) Use the Odissey Client and Wi-Fi Companion
4) Hard-reset
I´m out of ideas. Any help ?
Thanks
Leonardo
