misplaced software

I have a axim 5 and a axim 51. I have misplaced my active Sync software CD

for my 51. Can I use my 5 CD to use to Sync my 51. I need to reinstall it on my computer. Plus I was wondering about wins 2003 with the axim 5 and the win. 5.0 with the axim 51. or can I just order a new copy from Dell.

The ActiveSync on your X5 CD is 3.x whereas you need version 4.x for WM5. Just download it from Microsoft for free. You don't need a copy of the OS because it remains following a hard reset.

ok thanks. :approve: one more thing, on the 51 how do you do a hard reset.

Same as the X5 - hold down power button while doing a soft reset (push stylus into reset hole at the BACK).
