Am I getting a good enough deal here?
I want to buy this PDair Aluminum Case Extended Battery Fit + Energy Leaf Extended Power Battery 2200mAh! (Product ID: BAEBMDCX50)
With the coupon, it comes to $52 USD - shipping to Canada & taxes included!
Is this a good enough deal?

Also, is this 'Energy Leaf' battery any good, not cheap quality - does it stay charged as long as it should?
Thx!

Hello:
The Energy Leaf batteries are NOT good, you need to get the actual DELL batteries.
you can find them on ebay or other web sites like bizrate.com
As for cases I'd recommend RHINO-SKIN or SENA.

Well what exactly is not good about the Energy Leaf batteries?... (Anyone else agrees with that?)
And, btw, I had a PDair aluminum case for my X30 for over a year - it's excellent, so...

I have both the PDair and Rhino case for my X30.All I can say is the Rhino is collecting dust.I see no reason to get a Dell battery.I have used the Evergren as well as some really cheap Ebay batteries and they are still going strong after two years. To make a statment that Evergreen batteries are bad is not worth much unless you can back it up with some comments as why they are bad.

You might want to check PDAden's site for a better price. Since I'm unsure about link posting, so just google it.

I've used them a couple of times before with no complaints at all. Haven't used them for the Axim stuff, but used them for the Sony Clie stuff on two different models. Worth a look anyway.

I checked PDAden and other sites but couldn't find a better deal (Rhino-type aluminium case + 2200 mAh battery - both for less than $52, shipping & taxes included)?
I know it doesn't sound like a deal of the decade, but I still couldn't find them anywhere for less than $52
Would you post a direct link then plz?

I've had this exact combo for over a year: the Energy Leaf extended battery and the black PDAir extended hard case. I have had no problems with either, and have been very satisfied. Go for it! $52 is a good deal.

It actually is cheaper from PDAden as the site you are looking at it really $55.90 after shipping, IF you are shipping to Canada. That being said $3 isn't really much and you may, or may not, get it faster from the site you have chosen. However, if you are looking for the rock bottom price, it's $52.90 from PDADen to Canada, including shipping and so on.

Case:
http://pdaden.com/shop/cart.php?targ...uct_id=172 47

Battery:
http://pdaden.com/shop/cart.php?targ...uct_id=173 74

If you create an account and login it will automatically add the shipping an handling to it so you can see that too.

NOTE: They do say shipping is normally 1-2 weeks for PDAden and the site you posted shows shipping to Canada to be 4-9 days.

Anyway, good luck.

I bought a no-name (that I can recognize, anyway generic 2200 mAh battery & aluminum case on eBay for $36, that included shipping. The case is good (although it's collecting dust most of the time - these aluminum cases for ext. battery are bulky). I only had the battery for about 2 months so I can't tell you how it holds up in the long run. However at this price, what the heck.
