Check out Belkin. I have this one. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=191833. They also have just an auto charger, but I went with the 3 in 1 combo for the extra $11.

I need the one with the round end that plugs into the adapter, as I have GPS and use a splitter.

Semsons has it for cheaper than Dell.

Well, I am clearly not good at explaining! I need the part that goes into the car (what used to be a cigarette lighter), but I would also use the part you have shown me.

Thanks

If you have a splitter, then why can't you use the one mtgeorge recommended then? Perhaps you can describe how the splitter works...

The splitter is for the GPS. It is connected before the Axim and enables an extra wire to power the GPS receiver at the same time as the Axim for long car rides.

What connector is on the end that needs to be plugged into the car charger?

Typically, GPS splitters already come with the car charger part:

Radio Shack take your existing cord and Axim in and show them and they will provide you with the necessary adapter

in the url you sent me, it would be the part with a barrel connector at one end and the other end would go into the socket on the car. And it seems they have just what I am looking for, much cheaper than Dell. Thanks!

AHHHH.. to live in the land of still having Radio Shack - would be nice. Always used them when I needed stuff like this. There are no more Radio Shack's in Quebec alas, and next month no more in Canada. It has left us like Chi Chi's well missed but gone!!

Just about any major electronics store should carry them.

I recommend Belkin, but if you insist on cheap, Meritline.com has a car USB charger for low $ and they can be trusted.
