Anyone disappointed with the HT820?
I am considering purchasing a pair. Any regrets for use with the 51v? Also, is the battery user replaceable?

I had to Google HT820 to figure out what you were asking about. Guess I'm just sorta dumb because I didn't know HT820 was the model number for Motorola bluetooth headphones.

HT820? I do'nt know if the batteries are user-replaceable, but they work okay for me so far.

I've had the HT820 for a while now (since last summer). I use them with no problems with my x50v. I absolutely love them.

I do not think the battery is user replaceable, but I have never had a problem with it. A charge will last me for two weeks or more.

I only have two minor complaints about them:

1. The headband is not adjustable/does not fold up for transport
2. Although you can pair the Axim and a cell phone to them simultaneously, it creates a lot of interferance from both devices.

As far as sound quality goes, they are incredible.

Doug

The battery is not user replacable - it's built-in.
I have a Rev-A version and with the last firmware update, they seem to work OK. The current rev is Rev-C I believe which has better firmware. Don't get the Rev-A units as they had issues with cutting out if both WiFi and BT were used at the same time on the X50v.

Since I've never owned a newver version, I can't comment but others on this site could.

So far I love them. They do cut out once in a while on the x51v but it isn't too annoying. I am using a program to record Sirius then play it back later on the pda. they block any streaming at work and the windows have a film on them that blocks RF so I can't use my Sirius boombox to hear the shows. So far this seems to be working pretty good and they don't skip much at all during playback this way. I think it has to do with the processor getting too busy so if you aren't doing anything other than listening to music it seems to hold. I have used them to answer my cell but for some reason they seem to get un-paired and you have to go back in and do a quick reconnect when you are done with the call. I haven't messed with that part much yet to see if i can make it work but the call quality is very good. I don't get the interference that someone else mentioned. I have also use this for a great quality call using Skype.
