I've bought maybe three or four retractable charge/sync cables from ebay for my x50v. They work great, but stop syncing after about three or four months. Each time it's a different seller and brand (one was not retractable). Has anybody had any better experience with them? What's a good brand?

I think Boxwave sell one and Pocket PC Techs - I bought a regular Dell one as a back up and it's been fine - but if you want retractable try those guys - I think we have reviews on the site for these somewhere.

I bought the retractable one from PPCTechs. it only charges when the power is off. Kind of a pain. I too have the Dell cable. Works great.

I don't minf that it only charges OR syncs at any one point in time, but I care that it will do either depending whether or not the machine is on. After a few weeks, the cab;es I've bough continue to charge, but will not sync.

I was wondering, does Dell sell the sync cable with the cradle or does that have to be purchased seperately?

The sync cable is meant to replace the cradle.
