Sparklan CF Wirless Card
I just got my Axim and my Sparklan CF WCFM-100 Card just came in. I installed the driver on to the Axim and got it to work, then I turned off the Axim and pulled out the card and stored it. Then when I got to work and Pluged in my Wi-Fi card it doesn't work (no lights flashing on the card). So I uninstalled the driver and re-installed it from the Axim and it still doesn't work. Has anyone seen this problem before and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hopefully you won't find this insulting, but are you sure the card is in place? The last couple of mm as the card seats onto the connecting prongs requires substantially more force than the first 3cm.

Before adding more force, however, check to make sure all the connecting prongs are straight. Some users have reported them getting bent when inserting CF cards which, of course, would prevent it from working.

Thanks for responding back. I did check to make sure that I did seat the card properly in the slot. I did (after you sugested it) check the prongs to make sure that they are straight, and they are. I just got a new driver from Sparklan this morning. I am going to install that one and see if that will work. I will keep you updated. Though, if anything else comes to please don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks in advance.

Well, I got the new driver from Sparklan and it didn't work. Its like the Axim doesn't recognize the card at all and it also doesn't seem like the card is recieving power. So, now I am confused one more time. Any ideas?

It sounds like either a bad card or a bad CF slot. You could get some info on the slot by seeing if a memory card works in it (but a 'full' test would require an I/O type adapter like another WiFi card).
