I've used that case for quite awhile.
I've dropped the axim in it 2 times from about 3 feet in height onto gravel the first time and packed snow the second time. The axim was fine both times. The front cover of the case popped off both times on impact, it was just a matter of snapping it back on and the case was fine.
The case does scratch fairly easily, but I can still see through it pretty good. You can access everthing but the screen when the case is closed.
I started carrying it on my belt with the belt clip, but the screw would work loose and that is how it dropped the first time. I tried adding some blue loctite but that caused the back of the case to crack (blue loctite and plastic to not mix).
Then I started carrying it in my front pocket which worked very well. I think the case adds very little bulk to the axim maybe a 1/4 inch to the thinkness. It is very nice for pocket carry. I liked using it for music and I could work the buttons while it was still in my pocket.
The worst thing about this case, and this is what made me stop using it was that it put several wear marks on the axim itself which started to get pretty bad. Taking the axim in and out of the case was quick and easy, but it eventually wore off some of the silver finish on the sides of the axim. While the axim was in the case the cover contacted the front of the axim and there are wear marks now below the power button and just above the x50 logo were the buttons are.
Bottom line. I'd say it would be a good case for pocket carry only or in a bag etc. (don't trust the belt thing) and if you don't mine the wear marks or if you can figure out how to prevent them somehow.
Hope this helps
