Newton keyboard
I have a Newton keyboard that I used with my Palm Pilot. Is there any way to use it with an x51v?

Thanks

Wow I still have one of those. I hacked it to work on my first PDA, Philips Nino! (which I still have)

To answer your question - I have no idea.

Yes I also have one and they are very good keyboards. I asked this question a while ago and unfortunately came up with no success.

I did a google and came up with this device.

http://www.pda-concepts.com/otherproducts.html

I don't know if that makes it any closer to using with an Axim?

It is a serial connection. For the Palm Pilot I had an adapter that went from the funny round serial connector on the keyboard to a DB9 that plugged into the cradle for the Palm. I had to use a third-party keyboard driver that someone wrote specifically for the Newton keyboard.

Looks interesting, would need an adapter to get rs-232 out on the Dell.

Too bad they don't list the instructions on the free drivers to see just what they are.

Thanks

You could get a serial to usb adapter then a usb host adapter for the Ax.
But you could buy a bt keyboard for less.
