Waterproof case?
Unfortunately, living in Japan I don't have a great selection of cases (They only sell 2 PDA brans in the stores, and neither is the Axim. Had to get that off the Dell site). The cases offered on the Dell site are not the same as the ones on the American or Canadian site, I think, since there's not even a pictures shown. So, I've gotta find some off-beat site in Japan that sells them...

So, can someone recommend a case that opens like a book, but that is waterproof as well (I ride my bike to and from work and get caught in the rain quite often).

None exist that are book style AND are waterproof as the design itself compromises that. All I can suggest of to keep it in a waterproof container or bags, from camping stores to proof it. They DO have small bags for carrying PDA's and GPS units.

I guess I'll just have to buy a new bag that's waterproof. Just doing a little googling and found a few nice 'wallet' style PDA cases. Those look nice.

Actually, if you've any people left in Canada who can send you stuff, look at some of the Mountain Equipment Co-Op gear: stuff like this is what I was talking about.

That should give you an idea of what sort of bags to look for. Just stick your normal case in one of those, seal it, and they're good against everything up to being swept off your bike by severe flooding. Well, the first one anyways - the second one's just splashproof.

The Dry-Pak in the first link is basically one of the bags I posted above. The Armor cases are horribly expensive... but a perfectly valid solution to the 'getting wet' issue, even if they're NOT book-style cases.

It's not a book-style case, and the Otterbox Armors were on the second link that the previous poster mentioned. Pretty expensive too, for just using it to carry the Axim while biking to and from work.

I found croc-skin wallet PDA case that looks very nice. I think that's the way I'll be going.
