CF Card on x51v
How big a CF card will work with x51v?
I know most 4GB SD will not work. What about CF?

I've got an 8GB working just fine - this should be in the STorage Cards forum though....

If you avoid SD-HC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards, then your device should be able to write to and read from them. My 4gb keyman CF card works fine as well as 2gb SD.

correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know it is because of sd standards that sd cards are limited to 2gb (4gb ones that arent sdhc are not up to standards, i have one here that is totally useless) CF cards should be able to go as high as FAT32 formatting goes. I dont have my axim yet (bought it on this site and it should be here tommorow!!) but i have an 8gb microdrive coming with it and that is supposed to work

You should have no problems with CF cards, at least not size-wise. It's SD cards that are problematic, at 4GB.

A Transcend 150X 4GB SD card will work. That is what I have been using for nearly a year now.
