Using your credit card?

I want to buy a case from cases.com. I have never used my CC online. I always call to order. I live in Japan, and there are so many payment methods that require NO credit card, like sending me the bill first, which I pay at the 7/11 and then they send it.

Anyways, has anyone ever had problems ordering online with there CC?

I bought a case from them using my credit card and had no trouble what so ever. They're safe.

I'm not overly worried about the company...more the 'online' order factor. I had giving details online.

If your Credit Card has the Visa Symbol on it and you have signed the back. If there are (which I never have had) any problems you can dispute it and Visa will back you up :) Good luck.

I have used cc online many times, never have any problem. Just be sure the site you are paying are secured, you should see "padlock" icon and also on secured line, instead of "http" you should see "https".

I got two visa cards. One of them is used for the net and contains just the exact sum that I want to use.
And it's also used on my PayPal account - which I can recommend :approve:

... and I got an internet bank, of course :p

VISA will only back you up if it is an actual Credit Card, not a Debit or ATM or whatever else your bank issues for a checking account.

Yeah same here, I have a second credit card with a small limit on it, and I use it for places that are relatively not as safe as others, i.e. internet, gas pump, restaurants.

I did this after some thief took $4300 out from my credit card to buy electronics, and I figure my card was skimmed a restaurant.

Your credit card company will normally cover you for stolen charges, some of them may charge you a $25 fee however. Thankfully I was fully covered. It's because of stuff like this that the interest rate goes up.

I believe that using your card on a reputable website with decent security measures is safer than handing it to the waiter/ress at a restaurant. (Note that it hasn't stopped me from eating out!)

Another alternative is to use PayPal should the site give that as an option. Then have your PayPal account paid by a credit card.
