I bought it, but haven't even installed it yet. Having too much fun on seeing if I can over fill it with other stuff.

#2. Is their Wifi software that is offered for purchase with the unit important to purchase? Do I need it or is there a better option?
|
The other solution is keep the standard. When I bought my Axim, they included WIFI companion free. (BTW it already outdated and a newer version is out that fixed the bugs in it.)

#3. I was thinking of purchasing the 2800 extended battery that Aximcases sells. It adds 3/8" to the overall size of the PDA and comes with a special door for the increased size. Are there cases that handle the larger battery size and are there cases that also can safely carry an extra battery?
|
There are cases, but it gets limited with the extended battery. I like the Rhino for protection, but rather have a flip-up case.

#4. Can some of you recommend basic software that you think all PDAs should have?
|
I use iLauncher, Sbp Time, Sprite back-up. Pocket Mechanic and have a bunch more sitting on my HD. (Guess I went a little crazy when I was buying programs, found I didn't really need all of them) But Pocket Mechanic is a must have.

#5. And lastly, since there are both SD and CF memory slots, if one is going to add memory, is it advisable to use the SD or CF slot? Is the CF slot used for other add-ons etc? or doesn't it matter? I know CF cards can hold more memory. Thanks for any help that you can give me.
