Which OBD2 hardware/software?
I'd like to monitor my 2003 VW diesel via the OBD2 connector with my X51v.

I'm considering this cable interface... http://www.gomadic.com/dell-axim-x50...ata-cable.html and this software... Vag-Check or OBD Gauge.

Is this all I need? Is anyone else using this combo successfully? Do you recommend anything else. I did search the forums here but the relevant threads are fairly old.

TIA.

Paul

I don't know about using it for OBD2 applications -- but I'd also like to hear from someone that has this cable. I'd like to use it for some of my horology hardware ("heartbeat" detector/timer for quartz and mechanical) as well as CI-V controlling of my Icom HF amateur radio rigs.

To anybody that has this -- is there a driver that needs to be loaded? Also, what is the footprint of said driver??

Speaking of which -- are there ANY CI-V apps for PPC???

**EDIT** -- nevermind about the CI-V apps. I found a site where I can add bluetooth to my Icom rigs and control via PPC with bluetooth! Wayyyyy coooooolll!!!!!
