Help integrating Axim X51v into car
Ok, I am looking for more ways to use my Axim PDA so that I don't break down and build a carPC to rival my boss's that would cost me an another $1300.
So far, I already have GPS ability, can get a better audio setup to integrate into my truck's stereo. Have found bluetooth OBD2 sendsors.
What I am looking for is a good parking aide solution. I think I would prefer sonic/radar distance measuring over video cameras, but may come down to what ever is available.
Just looked at the Aximizer from one of the members here, but currently have no desire (ok cash) to put into a VGA external LCD nor the external HDD.
Hmm, only other thing I was looking for is tire pressure sensor. I have found tire pressure and sonic parking devices that are affordable but they are stand alone units and looking for way to integrate into the PDA so I only have one monitor (cradle) mounted on dash and can pop it out and take it with me. This is where I fight with my boss, since my PDA remains mobile, I can still take it to the office, GPS is bluetooth so can take it out as well for camping and boating.
So, can anyone point out ways to monitor tire pressure/temp, and measure parking distances using the PDA as the monitor instead of additional devices? Plus any other cool items to use PDA in place of a carPC?
Much thanks..
Dave
