Bought a used X50. Previous owner lost the original CD that came with it.
Now it's time to sell the X50.
Is there somewhere I can download the bits to rebuild the CD?
Yes, I know there's nothing useful on there...just try to explain that
to a potential buyer.
Having a copy of the CD would ease the sales process.
Ideas?

If you could download the whole cd, it would probably be illegal. All you really need is activesync that is on the cd. It also comes with microsoft outlook, and a whole bunch of program trials, and a few full versions.

Outlook is going to be the biggest problem, b/c it cant be downloaded legally, like actuvesync can.

I don't understand why anybody would go to jail for replacing
a piece of plastic the contents of which
they already have license to use.

Like I said in the original post, I know there's nothing useful on the CD.
I just want one to give with the X50 when I sell it.

So, is there anywhere I can get the contents of the CD WITHOUT
the dreaded outlook?

For the third time, I don't care whether the CD is useful or not.
Buyers JUST WANT IT and will pay less if you don't have it!!

Just throw a cd-r in ur drive. Put this version, activesync 3.8 on it. Thats about all they will use.

The cd does come with some trial apps, so u can put some of those on the cd. Resco File Explorer, monopoly, etc.

Then just lie to them and say its the x50 cd. Afterall i never really use the cd, everything u need is on the net already, except outlook, which i dont use.

That's sort of funny but not. Try ebay or similair sites, $5[us] about
