VGA Output to TV
I purchased a VGA out cable for the X51v and it works great out to a Monitor

So i bought the VGA to SVideo cable and it doesnt works so well.

The video becomes wavey and distored with no color
Im am Assuming its because the video display on the Axim is 640x480 and tv's dont like that.

The concept here is to put the movies i download onto the SD card and use a video player to play them on the Axim rather than burning them to cd or dvd to watch.

Anyone have luck getting the screen to display on a TV? and what software did you use to reduce the resolution?

Welcome to Aximsite!

This thread discusses some of those issues.

You must buy an external, rather expensive VGA -> TV converter. Unfortunately, there're a lot of issues involved in the signal conversion - simple cable-based solutions won't work. This is why, BTW, there are no composite / S-Video-out cables for the Axim.
