Control - how ?
My cradle charge in 1 - 2 hours and with 'Wifi ON' my ax last 3 - 4 hours.
Will that be about 0.5 C ?

I just meant that I can limit the charging current with some charger hardware modifications. To me basically the 1C is current to rated capacity, say 1100 mAh battery charged/discharged with 1.1A current for 1 hour is experiencing 1C, 2 hours 1/2C, etc. even the smallest battery on Axim generally lasts 2+ hours, so the battery aging should be very nice due to the discharge current, but assuming some sort of linearity, say 2200 mAh battery should roughly half the "wear" than 1100 mAh battery, but even the 1100 mAh battery doesn't see more than 1C charging current and 1/2 C discharging current.

Hi all, some info on the battery situation.

- All batteries have a set, approximate charge/discharge (cycle) amount and their ability to hold a charge will begin to deteriorate after the manufacturer's set number of cycles.

- Li-ion batteries are among the best secondary cells (rechargeable) for max number of cycles, however this differs greatly among manufacturers. Therefore it would be the best idea to charge the battery only when it is fully discharged, as this does not harm the battery (only gives you the maximum life possible per charge cycle).

- The mAh rating is how much of a charge the cell will hold, the unit being Milli-Amp/Hour, not how much current it will output.

- The input/output current will not make a difference as long as it's within the manufacturer's spec's (current rating set to levels that won't produce too much heat, which will wear out the contacts/electrolyte in the cell itself)

Just a few things that might help you guys out. I may have mis-interpreted some things you guys have said, so if I'm restating something you've already said I'm sorry no insult intended.

(BTW first post for me, a little tired from work, hello all!)
