I've had an x50v since they first came out, and I haven't used it in the past year because my charger died, and then I lost my base for it as well as my stylus!

Anyways, I does anyone have any suggestions of a good place to order a new charger/sync cable and stylus (preferably in Canada), other than Dell? I know that the cheapest solution looks like the travel kits that are available, and I checked one of the sites listed here, but I was hoping for some input.

I do apologize if there has been many a thread about this, but I am currently on dialup, so pouring through the myriad of posts only got me so far

I've got a second base (no charger) that Dell sent when I called about a missing CD. I use it, though. Turns out the charger for my old Maestro has the same tip, polarity and voltage! I use them both, though.

Speaking of sync/charger cables;
I've digged out one, that for some reason, does charge but when the device is off (when the cable is plugged into a wall charger), and when plugged into laptop you will need the to disable activesync and turn off the axim, else it will just sync, when it syncs ofcourse it doesnt charge.
I think the cable is messed up .. but just want to make sure before ordering a new one.
any help would be appritiated,

Your Activsync setting was probably set at "Continuously while the device is connected".

Open Activesync - tap Option - tap Sync Mode - Make sure "Only upon connection" is checked - Then tap OK.

Actually I dont have any Activsync settings (x50v - WM5 - A02)
I open Activesync --> menu --> options , I find synchronization options (mail, files .. etc) same on XP activesync.
Dont know what I am missing,
BTW: It charges while sync when placed on dell's cradle (not the USB powered one, but the one that has seperate AC plug). so I guess there is nothing actually wrong with the axim itself (been through some mega thread regarding the bad charging/sync connector)
